There are some products that are oldies, but that I will continue to like. I am teaching myself to buy American and support small businesses; therefore, every time I can and if it is available, I will go for the American product. I am starting to buy handcrafted and handmade products as well; it supports our artists and entrepreneurs, and the items have more charm than mass-produced things. There are a few products that I like, which you can buy at the A&P, in that mysterious section that most people pass by. Here are a few. All of these are made in the USA, except for the Witch Hazel, which is made in Canada. These have many other uses, as well.
Violetas Francesas – I have been using this splash cologne for babies since I was in high school and I still love it. It smells close to Lolita Lempicka perfume, just to give you an idea of the scent.
Expressed Sweet Almond Oil (aceite de almendras) from Pharmar is a great emollient.
Rose Water (Agua de Rosas) from EKO is great as a toner or just as a splash after you get a shower, or spritz when you are hot.
Delon Witch Hazel (Hammamelis Water) is the perfect toner. This one is from Canada.
Udderly Smooth Cream is one of my favorite skin moisturizers. If you can’t find the right moisturizer, try this one.
Queen Helene Cocoa Butter is a favorite. You can use it for your face, hands, and body. It is one of the best I have tried, and beats some expensive creams in the market.
Rosemary Oil (Aceite de Romero) for external use, also from Pharmar. Put in your bath for a relaxing moment. There are many benefits to Rosemary Oil. This essential oil is great also to add some shine in your hair.
Orange Flower Water (Agua de Azahar)from Pharmar is great for relaxing in a bath, a splash, a toner, and more.
Florida Water (Agua de Florida) from Murray & Lanman is a great after bath cologne – very relaxing. This one is from Jersey.
EKO Oil of Eucalyptus is great to add to your bath and relax or just as an essential oil, and air purifier/freshener.
Here you have it – some of my best secrets – hope you enjoyed this post. These are just some of the ones I like, but you certainly can find these in other brands, and not necessarily these brands. Most of these are from NY or NJ.

These are very good; now, I learned to make my own products, all natural and organic. If you are interested in doing this (it saves you money as well, on the long run), there are tons of natural recipes for this all over the internet. It takes a bit of time and effort in learning but it is worth it. Thank you for stopping by Inkspeare
